This December, Bridlington Spa will be filled with festive fun, laughter, and plenty of mischief as the much-loved pantomime Dick Whittington takes to the stage – starring none other than local boxing hero Tommy Coyle as the dastardly King Rat.
Tommy, best known for his illustrious boxing career and status as one of Hull’s sporting icons, will swap the ring for the stage as he makes his panto debut. Fans can expect a knockout performance as he brings to life the villainous King Rat, who threatens to spoil Dick Whittington’s adventure with his sneaky schemes.
Speaking about his new role, Tommy said:
“I’ve faced tough opponents in the ring, but stepping out on stage as King Rat is a whole new challenge! I can’t wait to bring plenty of energy (and a bit of cheeky villainy!) to Bridlington Spa this Christmas. It’s going to be a fantastic show for all the family.”
