We’re sprinkling extra fairy dust over this year’s pantomime at the Carriageworks Theatre, Leeds because a familiar face is back to bring the laughs!
We’re delighted to announce the return of Jez Edwards, who will once again be treading the Carriageworks stage – this time as the loveable, laugh-a-minute Muddles in our spectacular production of Sleeping Beauty.
Jez is no stranger to Leeds audiences. A firm favourite in Carriageworks pantomimes, he’s won hearts year after year with his infectious energy, brilliant comedy timing, and unbeatable connection with the crowd. Whether he’s raising a cheer, chasing a chuckle, or leading a big singalong, Jez knows exactly how to get everyone – from the littlest panto-goers to the grown-ups – joining in the fun.
This year’s Sleeping Beauty will be bursting with all the magic, music, mischief, and mayhem you’d expect from a Carriageworks pantomime. And with Jez in the role of Muddles, audiences can look forward to plenty of giggles, chaos, and those all-important “He’s behind you!” moments.

Jez said:
“I’m so excited to be back at the Carriageworks – it really does feel like home. Playing Muddles is such a joy, and I can’t wait to share the magic (and the mayhem!) of Sleeping Beauty with everyone this Christmas.”
