Meet the PHA Team!

Paul Holman

Founder and Managing Director

Paul is an accomplished musician, director, teacher and writer, with an MA degree in Arts Management (City University) and a certificate in Music Education (University of London); he is also a Licentiate of Trinity College of Music (LTCM) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).For nearly twenty years, Paul has been successfully presenting high quality pantomime, plays and summer shows throughout the country, and he has directed some of the country's leading names in show business.

Paul formed his own company, Paul Holman Associates (now PHA), in 1995. PHA is a corporate member of the Institute of Entertainment and Arts Professionals (IEAP).

Associate Producer

Nick came from a performance background prior to going on to direct over 20 major pantomime productions.

For eighteen years he was the artistic director of Premier Stage Productions, producing, directing & writing live tours of numerous high profile children’s brands. Responsibilities at PHA cover casting and artistic content.

International Productions by PHA

We are happy to create a bespoke show tailored to suit your venue and territory. This would be based upon a fairy-tale story of your choice, and can include subjects such as Cinderella, Aladdin and Beauty & the Beast.

These interactive shows feature story, music and comedy and can be both ticketed or non-ticketed ranging from a 20 minute mall show, through to a full 90 minute theatre production. Options are available for both fully freighted shipments of scenery and costumes, through to smaller productions which travel via air for speed and ease of transport.

The UK cast would come fully rehearsed and all content would be suitable culturally for any given region.

Our associate producer has a wide experience of presenting shows worldwide, with extensive touring in the Middle East and Far East, along with, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. Highlights include taking the first ever licensed children’s production to Nigeria, and a six week run in Kuala Lumpur.

A Magic Carpet Ride to Adventure!

On the streets of Old Peking, the mischievous Aladdin seeks his fortune to win the hand of the beautiful Princess Jasmine. With the help of his dopey brother Wishee Washee and his poor but honest mother Dame Widow Twankey, our hero must prepare to go on the adventure of a lifetime! He’ll discover a mystical Genie who lives in an enchanted lamp and who can grant the holder their every wish but must first defeat the evil magician Abanazar who is intent on world domination! Packed full with laughs-a-plenty, breath-taking special effects, dazzling scenery and costumes and traditional pantomime audience participation, this is the family pantomime not to be missed!

The countdown is on to Chesterfield’s most spectacular Christmas ball! Poor downtrodden Cinderella lives a life of misery, bullied and bossed around by her divaliscious step-sisters. With her best friend Buttons by her side and the magical help of her Fairy Godmother, will Cinderella make it to the ball and back again before Midnight? Find out if the glass slipper fits and if Cinderella can find her happy ever after with the handsome, charming Prince in this classic tale filled with lots of laughter and plenty of traditional pantomime audience participation combined with stunning special effects, sparkling costumes and scenery and a sensational star cast. With nothing but a handful of beans and the support of his poor but kind mother Dame Trott, his dopey brother Simon and the ever-faithful Daisy the Cow, our hero Jack must find the courage to slay the evil giant in order to win the hand of the beautiful Princess Amelia and free his village of tyranny forever. Little does he know that there’s a magical Fairy on hand to guide him on his quest up the beanstalk to fame, fortune and true love! With bucket-loads of laughter and huge helpings of traditional pantomime audience participation combined with dazzling scenery, spectacular costumes and an interstellar star cast, Jack and the Beanstalk is the pantomime adventure not be missed this Christmas!
