Pitch Perfect Panto with X Factor!
Audiences first fell for the larger-than-life charisma of Stevi Ritchie in 2014 when he appeared in
The X Factor. Mentored by Simon Cowell and singing hits like Don’t Stop Me Now and I’m
Believer, Stevi faced the Sunday night eliminating sing-offs twice with pitch-perfect performances,
before making an emotional goodbye in week six of the popular ITV hit show.
A stint in Celebrity Big Brother followed where he once more charmed with his cheeky personality,
good nature and humour helping him through to the final day in the Big Brother house.
No stranger to performing, Stevi has appeared across the UK in numerous pantomimes, gigs and
corporate events. The in-demand singer is now due to bring his own brand of swagger and
personality to the role of Gaston in the pantomime Beauty and the Beast at Bridlington Spa. With
casting that hits all the right notes, panto producer Paul Holman explained:
“Gaston needs attitude; he needs to talk the talk, walk the walk and command the stage with his
presence. Stevi has a fabulous personality, he’s full of energy and has a great voice so I believe
his performance of Gaston is going to be a real crowd pleaser!”
Stevi joins Emmerdale and Coronation Street actor Gemma Oaten, Bridlington’s favourite funny
person, Troy Harris, and Ian Parkin from Four Poofs and a Piano in Beauty and Beast from 13
December.
