Fairy Flavia is strictly magical for panto at the Pavilion!

Flavia Cacace-Mistry is to headline the star-packed pantomime at Worthing’s Pavilion theatre this Christmas.

The much-loved Strictly Come Dancing glitter ball champion is one of the nation’s favourite dancers and personalities, with an equally glittering catalogue of sell-out shows and nationwide tours. As a Strictly pro, Flavia made the 2008 final before going on to win with Olympic gymnast Louis Smith in 2012. She also won the Christmas Special in 2013 with Rufus Hound and the Children in Need People’s Champion trophy with her good friend Russell Grant. Their iconic moment live at Wembley, in which Russell was fired out of a cannon during their jive routine, was awarded the TV Moment of the Year at the BAFTAs.

Following a successful international career competing in ballroom and Latin, winning a legion of titles, appearing in numerous TV shows, choreographing and performing routines alongside world-famous music acts like Beyonce, Flavia now runs her own dance school, Dance with Flavia.

Pantomime producer Paul Holman, for Paul Holman Associates said:

“Flavia as our fairy in the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk is a perfect 10 from me; it really is ideal casting and audiences can look forward to plenty of magic and sparkle in this production that has giant appeal for families and Strictly fans.”

Reinforcing just how perfectly cast Flavia is, she recently fulfilled a lifetime dream and has moved to the countryside with husband Jimi Mistry. The couple run a smallholding and share their daily life on Facebook and Instagram; OurLifeAtTheBarn is an entertaining and educating journey through sunshine and showers, poultry and poly tunnels!

Flavia will be cha cha charming audiences in Jack and the Beanstalk from 1 December to 2 January 2023. Tickets are on sale from Worthing Theatres at wtm.uk
