Comedian to Bring Giant Laughs to Chesterfield Panto

Chesterfield Theatres and Paul Holman Associates have announced that comedian Paul Eastwood will be providing the laughs in this year’s family-favourite pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, playing the comic role of Simon Trott at Pomegranate Theatre from Friday 6th December 2019 to Sunday 5th January 2020.

Panto at the Pomegranate has built a reputation for bringing top class comedy to Chesterfield and this year will be no exception. With over 20 years’ experience in the entertainment industry, Paul has audiences of all ages eating out of the palm of his hand with his quick-fire wit, slick delivery and engaging persona.

Highly respected on the UK and international comedy circuit, Paul’s career has taken him all over the world performing everything from cabaret to cruise ships, theatre to tv for the likes of P&O Cruises and Sky TV. Quick on his feet and great with a crowd, he regularly acts as a warm-up man for ITV’s hugely popular Loose Women.

Paul has enjoyed great success with British holiday crowds, headlining seasons at world-renowned venues such as Babbacombe Theatre, Eastbourne Hippodrome, Cromer Pier and Europe’s biggest Christmas show, The Thursford Spectacular, proving a hit with his good, clean, family fun.

Pantomime Producer Paul Holman said: “I am delighted that Paul Eastwood will be joining us in Chesterfield this Christmas. One of the busiest comedians in the industry, I have no doubt he will have the audiences in stitches”.

Featuring a giant beanstalk, a dancing cow and plenty of slapstick silliness, Jack and the Beanstalk promises to be Chesterfield’s most sensational pantomime yet with glittering scenery and costumes, spectacular special effects and some exciting star casting news still to come.

Jack and the Beanstalk runs at Pomegranate Theatre from Friday 6th December 2019 to Sunday 5th January 2020. Tickets are on sale now and can be booked online at http://www.chesterfieldtheatres.co.uk/ or via the Box Office on 01246 345 222.
