Beauty and the Beast are Bewitching at the Box Office!

Tickets for this year’s Redditch Palace Theatre pantomime are already selling fast and with an exciting cast on board, this production of Beauty and the Beast is set to be a big hearted, boisterous and bang up to date production to entertain all the family.

Lee Brennan, best known from boy band 911 will be starring as the pantomime beast.

Back-flips, break-dancing and a catalogue of catchy hits somersaulted front-man Lee and the boys to the top of charts in the 90s, selling over ten million records worldwide, including the platinum selling number one single A Little Bit More. Sell-out arena tours in the UK, Europe and Asia plus headlining the legendary Smash Hits Tour kept 911 at the top of their game. It was to a legion of heart-broken fans that they announced their split live on the Chris Moyles Radio1 breakfast show.

The two million regular viewers of the fly-on-the-wall documentary The Big Reunion will also remember 911 reforming for the hit programme and subsequent tour.

An accomplished songwriter, Lee co-wrote many 911 songs and also co-wrote the  number one smash hit single If you Come Back, released by fellow boy band Blue; this sold over a million copies worldwide. He’s no stranger to theatre, having played Willard in Footloose, The Musical and has headlined numerous pantomimes across the country.

Joining Lee in the production is children’s favourite Naomi Wilkinson as Belle. The much-loved presenter of Naomi’s Nightmares of Nature (CBBC) is well known for her bubbly persona and daredevil attitude, which is sure to help her tame the pantomime beast! Currently appearing in the second series of the CBBC drama Princess Mirror-Belle, Naomi is a popular face on Countryfile, Blue Peter and regularly features in the BBCs Super Movers, Live Lessons and Bitesize Daily.

Playing the pantomime fool and ensuring laughter at the Palace Theatre is loud and long is in the capable hands of impressionist Andrew Fleming. The Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist thrilled audiences with his Jools Holland, Bruce Forsythe, Dot Cotton and Bee Gees impressions!

There really is nothing like a Simon Howe dame! This stalwart of pantomime will have audiences of all ages falling for his energetic and engaging performance as Madam Cheri Triffle as he makes another welcome return to pantomime at the Palace Theatre.

Beauty and the Beast runs from 5 to 31 December and will tickets in high demand, early booking is advised.
