The classic fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty will be packed with comic calamities, slap stick humour and a host of creative characters to entertain everyone. Nurse Katie Cough-Drop will tickle and tease with her catwalk fashion style, Muddles will bring a medley of madness and mayhem and it will be wands at midnight between the Lilac Fairy and the evil Fairy Carabosse in the ultimate diva battle of good over evil.

Wicked Witch Hazel has cast a spell on the dashing Count and condemned him to spend the next two years living as a beast – unless he can be saved by a kiss of true love. A host of colourful characters will help to tell the tale with Professor Crackpot and his crazy inventions, Gaston the village hunk and wannabe heart throb who wants to woo Beauty, the caring and comedic Madame Fifi Camembert, and the mischievous and playful Pierre. Its guaranteed pedigree pantomime magic and all delivered with a Beast of a story line and the Beauty of a talented cast.

Simple Simon is certain to serve up massive helpings of mischief and merriment and Dame Trott will tickle and tease with her comedy couture costumes.
Danger is never far away in Sunnyvale and Fleshcreep, Giant Blunderbore’s evil side-kick, delivers dastardly dealings of menace and mayhem. Never letting the grass grow under her hooves, Daisy the Cow gives a gold top performance whilst Princess Amelia leaves a twinkle in Jack’s eye and along with the magical Fairy Organic, spurs Jack on in his battle with Blunderbore.

For the first time ever the pantomime version of Sleeping Beauty is to be staged at The Carriageworks and the ultimate battle of good over evil depicted by the cruel and conniving Carabosse in combat with the loveable Lilac Fairy will be brought to life in a far from sleepy production!

Fairy Carabosse has not been invited to the Christening of Princess Aurora so she casts a spell that will see the girl prick her finger and die by her 18th birthday. Despite King Crumble banishing all sharp objects from the kingdom, despite the care of the colourful Nurse Katy Cough-Drop and despite the merriment of Muddles, it’s going to take all the magic of the wand waving Lilac Fairy to turn this tale into a happy ever after ending...although the true love kiss of a handsome Prince will make sure we’re spinning dreams in Leeds this Christmas!

There are more than seven little reasons why this year’s Palace panto is bursting at the seams with a treasure trove of gold lined family fun. Wicked Queen Grizelda may think she’s the fairest of them all but Prince Valiant only has eyes for Snow White and although he may be a poor Prince, he’s rich in strength and determined to win the hand of the Queen’s step daughter. Mayhem, madness and merriment delivered by funny-man Muddles turn the Palace into a panto playground of pedigree laughter, topped off with more fun and frolics from Dame Dolly Dumpling. Snow White’s fate may be sealed with the bite of an apple, but with Seven Dwarfs and a Fairy of the Forest watching over, a kiss from a Prince is what’s needed to guarantee our happy ever after ending!

Danger looms from Giant Blunderbore’s evil side-kick Fleshcreep so a ground force of magic from Fairy Organic will be needed if Jack is to bring an end to Blunderbore’s reign and find true love in the arms of Amelia!

Its comedy capers at the Connaught this Christmas as we climb a beanstalk, slay a giant, meet a golden egg laying hen, listen to music by harp, learn to milk a cow, fall in love and live happily ever after!
But first the campaign to rid the village of Sunnyvale from Giant Blunderbore’s bullying side-kick Fleshcreep is brought to life with a magnitude of magnificent characters, from the comic King Prawn and silliness of Simple Simon to the delightfully dotty Dame Trott and our handsome hero Jack, who just happens to be in love with Princess Amelia!
Huge helpings of traditional slap-sick, ghost gags and audience participation will have audiences full of beans as a gigantic measure of magic from the wand waving Fairy Organic gives Jack the courage he needs to climb great heights and battle with Blunderbore in the Connaught’s traditional pantomime festive offering.
