Santa's a Sell Out!
The Night before Christmas was a big hit with Chelmsford families last December! Even with an additional performance included to meet demand, the enchanting production at Chelmsford Theatre was a total sell out!
Directed by Danielle Drayton and starring John Rayment, Sophie Holt, Max Reader and Lucy Rose Walker with Elizabeth Curnock and Sonny Chatters, The Night Before Christmas was a delightful live-theatre performance for three to eight year olds, that brought the magic of Christmas Eve to life.
Classic, timeless Christmas songs children and adults love, audience participation, charming staging and a story that introduced Santa, Daisy the elf, Millie and Woody along with Frosty the snowman and Rudolph, kept families engaged and entertained for the 45-minute production.
Families then had the opportunity to meet the lovable characters on-stage for photos too!
The Night before Christmas is a part of a trio of productions from Paul Holman Associates, written and created by Nick George. The family shows, which include Here Comes Santa Claus and Santa's North Pole Adventure, are perfect as an introduction to live theatre for younger family members who might not be quite ready for the raucousness of panto! They are equally delightful for any child who still believes!
Performed in studio theatres or smaller auditorium, the Santa collection of shows can run in any order, have stand alone story lines and can be programmed to work around a venue's pantomime schedule.
